Treadgold Street was a refurbishment project of a mid-terraced house in London. Designed by Ardesia Design, the main concept was to build a new side return extension and to reconstruct an existing rear extension in order to create a new kitchen and dining space.

The Client’s brief was to create a countryside style kitchen, but with a modern twist. New kitchen was selected in a pale blue and white wooden finish, tailor-made by dica and imported to London from Spain. The backsplash was finished with white metro tiles and a light grey grout to match the colour of the cabinets. Kitchen worktop was made from off-white corian. Same colour was chosen for 600x600mm floor porcelain tiles.

A wood-burner, which was installed in the new conservatory, with a custom built log storage and some vintage furniture helped to create a desired feeling of being in the countryside.

A good example of how Arkadia integrates in different settings to create environments with a very personal style.
